The Apple Farmers' Association of Nova Scotia was incorporated in October of 2006.

The organization intends to be a practical, grassroots organization to represent and assist apple growers in Nova Scotia with the production of fruit.
 

On a volunteer and non-profit basis the Association's objectives are to:

• provide educational opportunities for all growers
• foster cooperation and information exchange between growers
• advocate to government for equal and reasonable access to programs
• communicate to growers information regarding matters affecting their production of tree fruit
• ensure that all members have an equal voice
